vancouver op-for at pilgrim rd

was really good to see vancouver op-for out in force today at new playing area. im happy you guys liked the games being played and hope to see you out again.

on another note all of you who showed up today should feel proud of your actions. not only did everyone show up wearing their poppies as requested and also taking two minutes out of their day before game start to honor the fallen. together we also raised $222.00 for the childrens charity "empty stocking fund"

i checked into the empty stocking fund and its a splinter of the food banks. with me knowing what kind of people use this service i was not comfortable donating everyones money there. instead i went with the registered charity "BASICS FOR BABIES" so for all of you who played on this day and donated,here's where your money went.
