Kalashnikov PDW variant aka Ugly Pug
This is a photoshopped version, but is exactly how the prototype is configured. Only things that need doing are chopping up the inner barrel and the flash-hider threads... and hacking up the foregrip to accomodate the magazine.

I can't see that working, honestly. There won't be room for a hop-up, unless the barrel is like 1/4 inch long. Otherwise, it'll be non hop-up with maybe an 1-1/4 inch barrel. About as useful as one of those mini-AEGs that is resembles so well.

Holy no-barrel batman. That will have the accuracy of throwing BB's!

actually the barrel is 4 inches long... and the hop unit is untouched, it's still the original unit and is mounted the same way.
How long is the MP5 PDW barrel? It's one Ugly Pug.

Meh, if he likes it, I see no problem with it. I couldn't imagine that you'd use a gun like that and still be concerned about distance or accuracy anyway. It'll be interesting to see how the final product performs. All the luck in the world to you!

i added a beautiful bare-bones AK to my armory just recently... I just had to hack up the spetz/krink.
it shoots fairly decent surprisingly... not that much of a change from the stock length barrel groupings. Don't ask me why but it just does. I'll have to do a comparison with an MP5K... anybody know how long their inner barrels are?

As long as he hacks up the bastard inexistent in real steel AK and leaves the other ones alone... I guess its alright =/

Man, there is a LOT of hate in this thread.
The gun isn't my cup of tea, but I'm not going to take a crap on your work because of it...jeez. In fact, I'm pleased to see your ingenuity. Just goes to show that some people aren't afraid to think outside the box and try something different. |
