I donno what the numbers mean on the stocks, but I have seen pretty much every US SF/SOC M4's with them.

That's really nice Kokanee. Looks like we'll have 3 PTWs this weekend at the LZ.

I'm still broke after getting one to add the things that I want on my PTW.

Nice, glad to see you got it together. I thought you bought a MAX challenge kit, not the gen.3?

Dead sexy front end though I am happy with the RAS II on mine. Need to get some ranger magpuls on those mags though since the real steel ranger plates fit em (have em on all mine.) Still waiting for my HurricanE 553 clone to come in, wont have it for this weekend

Its a rack # so that when you store your weapon in the armoury.. you can find it again.

Ah, so now I know what those numbers mean, all I knew is all the ETF guys use em and address each other on the radio with em at games.

I have "47" stenciled on all my mags and my stock because its my 47th gun. Also I'm a big Hitman fan, making a stencil for the Hitman logo and sticking it somewhere on my PTW, haven't decided yet.

Kokanee, assuming you're right handed, isn't that sling loop on the wrong side?

Nope, this way the weapon falls to my weak side (left) and doesn't get in the way when I draw my pistol.

True.. but won't it come to rest pistol grip to the rear, hot side to the leg ( ok not a concern with AS but still ) Left side swivel allows the weapon to drop grip to the fore so you can holster the pistol.. cross over and bring the primary back to battery with the dominant hand....

hey, but to each his own

in additon the left side of the receiver is smooth... no port cover.. no forward assist to get fowled on gear...

once you do a few hours practicing transitions... this all starts to become clear.

That may be a little too pricey.. I'm assuming the base kits are going to run around 1000+, unless they're selling stripped uppers.... Either way, it seems like a good project.

So, what's wrong with a $1000? If you had to buy a quality rail for $600 and a stripped AR upper for $200, why not get a monolithic platform for a little bit more, and have a unique gun?

I would, if it was available.

Nice gun, BTW Josh. I think you got best set-up going, for a non-MAX gun that is. But just throw a set of steel planetaries in for $50 and you're gold!!!
