New Inokatsu CO2 M60D

Inokatsu plans on releasing what they call an "M60D CO2/AEG," so, really, no idea what that is, somehow a combination of CO2 and electric power, but also plan on releasing an CO2 only version of this insane support weapon. I suppose one could use it in an infantry role, though, for relatively the same price you could get an M60 variant actually designed to do that... Obviously this is to be mounted on vehicles, or kept in and entrenched position. Pics:

Coming 2008... Now if I just had a spare car or helo laying around I could mount this on and convert to an airsoft support vehicle...

dont know, but yeah, it would make sense. I mean, Escort uses Inokatsu shells for their internals... They're already well connected... So yeah, if not genuine escort, then I'd bet probably just rebranded.

Most likely Escort, which means external gas. Bad news for sewing machine lovers, GREAT news for guys like me! Wonder what the scoop is with the AEG part.

I can only hope it's being set up that way (CO2 & Electric) to move a heavy bolt and make the shooting experience more visceral, like a KWC Mini Uzi on steroids.

And for anyone intimately familiar with external gas guns: could they be run off a compressor? Or do they really require bursts of very high power gas? (I'm guessing the gas is regulated, but dunno down to what pressure)

G'day,

NOW we're talkin my language! External tank GBB and support weapon just go so happy together. Guess I am putting off my PTW purchase until next season, just in case one of these lands in Canada by then.

Thats like an m60 with a 50 cal grip. I personaly would prefer a regular m60 over an m60d mosty because of the grip and that gun do not go together.

Running off a compressor is possible but would be impractical. External air sources usually operate anywhere from 70-110 PSI which can control ROF and FPS, at least with classics. Regulators will keep a constant flow of pressure at that specific PSI till the last shot.

Sweet! Now I can make my Jeep really stand out when I'm off road! Now can I mount it on an ARB roof rack?

wow!! $500.00 for a relatively useless piece of kit I mean who wants to post up with a M4/M16 or any 5.56mm round and use it as squad/position support?
On the other hand if there were some outdoor airsoft only fields that want to set up a couple of bases and fit some of these to some Armalite's with some long assed barrels for range and high ROF that would make for a crazy place to play.
Now to the original topic that thing rocks and would be awesome used like above.
I'm new to airsoft and I have been looking in to "classic" airsoft and I can see why these AEG's took off getting rid of the tank and providing a full day of play with not much screwing around but I'm all for gas powered rifles and I see they are starting to make a comeback.
I think all they need to do is make real cap or mid cap mags that hold the gas sure it'll cost more but if I'm gonna dump three grand on a PTW and some mags and a batt and an extra cylinder
then I'd pay that for a GOOD GBB rifle and 6-8 30-50round mags then I'd have way more fun playing (if that's possible) with a little recoil and a loud bang and the need to reload more than once an hour it would seem more like a real situation and that could only get the adrenaline pumping that much harder.
sorry to ramble and sorry to the guy who decides to carry one of these all day and power to ya

well i would think cost effectiveness; if I was to outfit my cult compound towers with these I would think they are cheapier then mounting 249s (which are 5.56 and military forces feel it is effective for squad support) so I would have way more cash for koolaid and cynide.... drink up
