US airforce Digital Tiger Stripe
In ACU-pat colours..
This is apparently the new US airforce duty Uniform, in ACU cut,, and the ACU colours... but in a digital tiger stripe patten Digital is not my thing... but I figured some would be interested. Available at Army Outfitters.. on Avenue just north of Lawrence.

It's just another step in the direction of all encompassing combats...
Personally, I think they should have pushed on with the old nomex ABU's.

Ugly as sin, but they don't really need a good combat uniform since they are AF and you know.... don't fight.
Besides, FAC's and Parajumper along with all the SF part of the USAF will probably still be rocking the DCU as most of the SF have not changed over to ACU/ABU's yet.

its digitized tiger stripe, so it maintains the lines, with blocky edges.

yah...
Its likely that any major country to develop a new camo pattern, will digitize it.. As far as canada and the US is concerned, the 'pixels' on the uniform, match the size of a pixel in night vision goggles at 200 metres, which really helps at night.

Navy Digital and Air Force Tiger Stripe
Navy Digital is under production. I had a pile of the experimental stuff which I am sold out of. It is blue, grey pixels for obvious use on a battleship as you dont need it walking down the street. Would love to know how the navy figured this one out.
Air Force Tiger stripe is in stock and I think it is cool but hey I dont wear it. Just like a BDU but in digital tiger. I prefered the prototype I had personally. Much nicer colours and pattern. I had multicam also but was cleaned out in less than 24 hours |

now what does the air force need camouflage for, so they can hide from their boss in the hangar and take a nap?
