AK's in airsoft.

Besides the TM and clone ones AK47, AK47s and beta. G&G RK104, CA SLR105A1, ICS AK74 and VFC AK74UN are there any other hopefully reasonably priced ak's preferabbly around the 500-800 dollar range.

Yes, do some research. Each of those companies has came out (or is coming out) with several other models each.

Don't forget gas powered ones, classics and GBBs, as well as springers.

Chances are, to make an M70 or M76, you will have to end up changing pretty much every external part... so perhaps you should just go with a TM. Or a VFC, since they are supposedely more friendly with real steel parts (but they are expensive and would be a shame to remove all those steel and wood parts on them).

Look around Redwolf airsoft or WGC or so, check out all the brands and find AKs!

If you decide not to make an M70/76, get the ICS. Full metal and solid as hell to boot. I owned both TM and ICS.
