Airsoft HK416
Hey all. The HK416 is supposed to be an upgraded version of the m4/m16 series which is more reliable. From what ive read they pretty much mixed the g36 internals in the m4 body. And it looks beautiful. Now does anyone know any companies that make them for airsoft??? I saw one on anderson priced at 1k+ and was like no. So does anyone know anyother companies that make it within a reasonable price range (money is being saved). By reasonable i mean anywhere from 500-800.

they have conversion kits going for around 500 so i doubt you will get a prebuilt for under 800

Even with a conversion kit, you'd need to buy an M4 as the base.

You'd be lucky to find one in your price range. Other then that VFC has one http://aasurplus.ca/airsoft/product_...roducts_id=316

its a redesigned M4 system done by H&K
designed to be better in every way shape and form (except the price tag) while still using standard STANAG magazines (or the HK high reliability mags) although you can buy the realsteel gun as a whole, you could also buy the upper reciever by itself which holds all the upgraded bits and pieces, but it costs as much as your real steel M4. the airsoft version made by VFC from what ive seen is solid, but the stock wobbles a bit and the gearbox is a custom V2 meaning you cant get a replacement shell if it breaks |

I for one reccomend the HK416 lol, gearbox can be modified to fit the VFC if the shell breaks, the stock wobbles no more than a real M4... but in actual fact its just still an airsoft M4 in a different body, a very nicely finished body mind you. Sure it cost me $1200 but it was worth it for an HK collector like myself who demands top notch external finishing.

Ya im definetly unable to spend 1200 on a gun even if it is a very very beautiful gun. Pay at mcdonalds is not that great $8.25 lol. But if i win the lottery then ill definetly buy it. Speaking of which im buying a ticket 2morrow lol.

hey Jon, i've been meaning to ask,
is it true that with the VFC comes two outer barrel: 14.5 and 10inch? If it's true then 1 100$ is fucking nice for such a magnificent piece with TWO outer barrels! Other than that, I'd love that handguard for my SR16 but I just can't find it anywhere except with the full conversion kit

I've handle a couple real AR's with similar LE style stocks and both were no more wobbly than airsoft versions, but it is true, VFC could have tightened the tolerances on it as to not have wobble. Then again it's not like it's a functional issue that interferes with the operation of the gun.
Now as per the 2 barrels, it does come with the extra inner and outer barrels to suit your prefered configuration provided you purchase the DX model.
