I've been pining for a Tanaka Model 10 for a while now, unfortunately they don't make the heavy barrel yet except in Model 13 3". I wanted to replicate my old duty gun, an HB Model 64 4", which they also don't make...
Did you see that new Model 649 Bodyguard? That is hot. I'm also liking that Model 66 custom that WGC has with the Tyler T-grip on it. Last edited by Gryphon; June 11th, 2007 at 00:30.. |

I saw a Model 10 with a custom made 4.2" barrel at one point but I think the guy wanted over $600 for it. The 5" and 6" barrels are stamped at the same point as the 4" barrels so a good smith can cut one down easily and make it appear factory. Getting the front ramp replicated is another story, but I've seen it done.
Do they allow you to change your grips or can you only use what's issued? I'll have to find that pic of my work piece. |
