SRC seems to be much better than the more prominent Chinese clone companies (Cyma, AGM, JG) and steadily approaching the quality and reliability of CA.

I dunno. I looked at an SRC RPK and it was trash. The CYMA and JG guns I've pulled apart are nearly as good as Marui, the fit and finish are a little rough. Give them another 18 months and they'll be there.

I Wrote a review on the SRC M4 in the long term airsoft study, in my opinion its a HUGE moneysucker and parts keep breaking from it.

Really? I've used mine faithfully and put maybe 10,000 rounds through it, not one hitch.

EDIT: Oh, I just read your review and you have the older version SRC with the plastic body. The Version 2's have much better internals and externals (I have a Version 2).
