If the conversion kit contains a restricted item (mainly recievers), it will be destroyed if audited.
Else, you're at the usual risk of random seizures that plague airsoft related imports. Try to buy canadian. |

absolutly no problem. MAINLY in this case because the xm8 is not a production rifle so its not even technically a replica.

It's going to get seized as it's a receiver etc...
plastic or not doesn't stop it from being seized... it looks like a gun or gun part, you get seized... |

HK sold production and copyright of the XM8 concept rifle to General Dynamics, the same people who produce the LAV for us.

It makes zero difference if it entered production or not. It existed as a real gun, so therefore this is still a replica.

check the replica laws, it directly stipulates that if does not replicate a production firearm, or in otherwords a real world firearm in use, its not a replica. thats like saying the m41 (aliens rifle) conversion would get siezed because it looks like a gun. the xm8 isnt in production YET.
i wouldnt flap my mouth if i wasnt sure about this. BUT i could still be wrong. |
