Just signing up....
Hi all. Just ordered my first airsoft gun, and have to say I'm as excited as I could be. Coming from paint ball which I've done for ages and ages, but this looks a lot better. I just purchased a KJW Sig Sauer P226 (with all the trademarks which was nice to see) from 007 here in town. I did happen to find a retailer out of Hong Kong I believe that had the same gun minus the trademarks for nearly $135 cheaper and they offered bb's as well. I'm down for supporting Canadians businesses but how can another place be so much cheaper? Is there problems getting them into Canada? I'd be interested for purchases down the road. Also where is a good place to find places to play in Calgary? Obviously I'll need some practice, but eventually I'd be looking to play competitively in the area when I have the gear and some experience.

#1.) Welcome to Canadian Airsoft.
#2.) Please read the Newbie Guide - Much has been written on everything you're curious about regarding Airsoft in Canada. #3.) Fill out all your side info, so we know where you are to better assist you, if necessary. #4.) Get age verified. #5.) Read everything - I mean everything about airsoft in Canada, gather as much info as possible & make every effort to better understand the sport, the legalities & the issues. Have fun. Run! Run as fast as you can while your sanity's intact and before your wallet and bank account are empty.
Seriously though, might be a bit of a wait before you get your pistol. 007 only has 2 AEG's for sale and as far as I know they're not in the country yet. All of his other in-coming pieces were snapped up pretty quickly. I'll tell you that a handgun won't be of much use in a game. |

Nice to know he isn't age verified...and also the part about him almost ordering from HK was a little disconcerting. Read the FAQ's before you go any further, and try to get a hold of some local players so you can have a chat with them and see what the sport is all about.

You can't buy airsoft guns from another country and import them into Canada.
