How fun it would be to play with simulation

OK now before I start getting flamed to hell!

Since I saw Iceman’s post,
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=36625
I can’t stop thinking how fun it would be to play with simulation.

I mean it’s the perfect world mixture of the range of airsoft and real guns looks( because there real guns with mods) An the real pain and big noise as paintball + ejecting shells ok the rounds aren’t cheap

I know how much trouble and harm it could cause and the whole legal thing. But come on! You would play a game if you would have the chance!

I know it’s dangerous…. but so is rock climbing, skydiving and driving in the middle of Montreal at 5 pm!

Please take a look
http://www.simunition.com/cartridges/fx_training_en.php

“The cartridges are available in .38 cal. and 9 mm calibres and feature tactical accuracy up to 25 feet (7.6 meters). The 5.56 mm calibre is tactically accurate with ball cartridges to 100 feet (30 meters). No special ballistic facilities are required. They meet the need for a force-on-force and man-to-man training system that is realistic, effective, inexpensive, adaptable and fully portable.”

Here is a demo
YouTube - fun shoot MAS G1 simunition

The gun’s would be the real one and would actually cheaper then the replica of the airsoft ones… lol

It sounds just like a GBB. Big whoop.

I have taken part in training exercises with sim rounds, you must wear you body armour and full face mask, these little soap rounds hurt like a son of a bitch, I also know they are very expensive, over a $1 a round.

However they do give you a sense of reality when doing force on force training, with reduced recoil.

that was quick!

Can’t be that bad if it’s becoming the standard of realism for training for American and Canadian troops and elite swat groups? But hey what do I know!

A big mark if you take an arm shot, I used it with law enforcement training.

$1 a round....no thanks!

Paintballs being ~$.10 a round is too much for me.

If pulling the trigger can be translated into firing a coin (except maybe a penny) it'll never go mainstream.

It will never go mainstream because it is restricted to LE and Military only..

Already looked into it... its a non starter...
