In need of information
Hey everyone,
I just recently decided to purchase an airsoft gun to play with some friends, and I would like some information or recommendation. Ok, well first, up from the start I knew I wanted a pistol. After looking around, I have settled over the Tokyo Marui SIG P226 Rail Gas Blowback gun. Now I don't know if I can order from you guys or anything, but I found this and found the price to be reasonable (I hope it's not prohibited to post links, if so, please let me know, I'm not trying to go against the rules). Ok, well that's that. But being a gun buff (I own three guns in Florida), I can't buy the gun without buying metal parts for it. Looking around the site, I found this. Now I would love to hear your opinions about this kit or recommendations for another product that would be superior. I don't know anything about airsoft per se so I would like the metal parts to be easy to install. I would also like to hear about the gun. From the reviews I have read, it's excellent. Thank you all for your time, I appreciate it. |

Its an excellent gun, but you cannot order from that site as it is out of Canada.

Oh, I thought I could since there was an option for shipping here. Oh well, any suggestions then? Are there any shop around here or something (Ottawa)?
Edit: Eh, I just realized that you have one yourself, so I guess the question is more along the lines of where do I order it from? |

Recent events? Care to fill me in?
Oh and thank you for the websites, I will look into it. Edit: Yes it does have the P226, it's a lot more expensive than on the other website, but I would expect no less in Canada. Because of the law I guess. Last edited by Tekki2034; March 2nd, 2007 at 00:26.. |

In short form, in the last 6 months the government has REALLY cracked down and made it hard for even those with the proper licenses to import airsoft guns. A year ago there were over a dozen suppliers to choose from; today we're down to 3. The net result is less choice/stock, and higher prices.

Its not just airsoft. Public safety concern has become much more of an election issue these days.
Im sure the members of CGN are holding their breath too for their guns. |
