CQB + Face Protection = Good
After getting shot in the face about 8 times within an hour, my thick headed brain (which was not shot) decided its time for face protection LOL
What Kind of Face Protection Do You Wear?

I use a full JT mask. I can't goto work looking like I have the pox.

I use a proprietary gel-mesh. It's hard enough to stop the BB from hitting my face, but soft so I can press close to my AEG and see thru my scope. Neoprene was too hot for indoor CQB.

Telling him to NOT use face protection doesn't really help his situation and really is ultimately a pointless post. Not eveybody is into airsofting "for the pain".
Offhand, all I can think of are the following: * Full mask (it's not up against your face and doesn't heat up) or a half-mask. * Shemagh like one user said above (this will slow down the bullet velocity and hopefully not leave a mark) * Balaclava (it's breatheable and it'll break the impact and distribute the force somewhat) |

There really is very little out there that will allow you to use your sights, scope, RDS, etc., be breathable, comfortable, non-fogging, etc.
If you have to choose between the above, it's not a good situation. Use face protection if you like, but you will have to compromise. BTW, balaclavas and shemaghs do nothing except keep a welt from becoming a bleeder, but you'll still welt.

Where they are allowed. The sensai style masks are pretty good for a positive cheek weld to your rifle. They are garbage in low light though, no fogging. Be sure to get a decent one, test it too.
