A weird question about helmets!

Hi to all airsoft pros out there,right now im building up my cadpat uniform and i was planning to get a helmet,i was wonder which helmet is recommanded for airsoft gaming? right now i have found 2 which are mich 2000(fibre glass) and PASGT non ballistic

for mich 2000 it says size is suggestable but for PASGT i have to choose the size

im not sure about which size i should choose since i have a pretty big skull:banghead:

is there a way to measure the radius of the head to fit the helmet?

i have an average size head i guess you could say and my helmet (psagat non ballistic replica) is a l/xl. this helmet wieghts like 1/4 of a pound, whilst a real one my team mate had wieghed almost 8lbs. i would definatly not reccommend the real helmet as you become... very top heavy lol. i just about fell overwalking on a burm when i lost my balance, the helmet almost pulled me over.

Okay, measure your head in CM. In general, if you have 52- your a Small, if you have 61+ you're an XLarge. I'll let you figure the Medium and Large diameters.

As for which is recommended...are you going for a CF impression or just whats gucci?

The MICH 2000 should be more accurate portrait of the CF helmet.

Well if you want the absolute proper helmet...the Gallet CG634 is the way to go...however the Gellet MICH 2000 comes pretty damn close.

im having hard time finding mich 2000 except ebay :/ are there any canadian retailers who carries them?most i found are US PASGTs :/

Get the helmet off ebay, it should come in without any hassle. I got mine from ehobby.

Just make sure you get the XL, otherwise they send you a M or L.

the one from extreme tactics is weird,seems too cheap for a real one but way to expansive for a glass fibre one 2 hmmm

The CG346 is not a 'MICH modified'. It's a different model of helmet completely. The differences are everything from brim to suspension..however they are still closer then a CG346 and a PASGT.
