SR-25 URX Conversion mod is out!!!!!
there we go guys, the only down part is that you gotta buy the tool to instal it. The kit itself 174 on redwolf and 51 for the tool. Looks soooo sweet!

Am I the only one that chuckles at the name URX? Sounds like something you'd utter when burping.

how can it convert your 5.56 to a 7.62 with just changing the front RIS kit as you would need to change the body or mag well to accept the 7.62 round mag

Plus if you're shortening your barrel to a 16" setup, you'd probably want to swap the full stock out for a Crane stock (or a VLTOR) to have a real compact setup (which is how the real setup is supposed to go). G&P's website has nice pics: http://www.gp-web.com/en/productspop.php?pid=1247 and this is what the tool is for (crappy IMO, other RAS systems [KA, GBtech, etc] work perfectly fine. And if you need it to install it, it should be included with the kit): http://www.gp-web.com/en/productspop.php?pid=1248

you need a new space key.
Like I said, Im totally diggin the shorty SR25 look. though Id choose something different, like a magpul stock and a different front end, maby a MRE kit. Be neat to fit the Sr25 with a SPR mk12 mod 0. |

One is a Magpul M93 Cabine Stock for M4 Series US$248.00 The other is a G&P UFC M4 Buttstock ( Black ) US$128.00 Can you guess what one is real? Either way, we all know G&P makes awesome stuff, so Id still settle for the G&P over the real one. |

Is it just me, or does the G&P one look better then the real MagPull one? Looks cleaner and has a better color...

$128USD plus shipping from asia and customs your looking at something like $260CDN? I got my fresh from trials by the USMC in A-Stan here in Canada (In fantastic shape, still had sand in the packaging) for less than that... Oh, and it was real, not a knockoff. I suppose if you cant get the real deal it may be worth it, but real steel parts win just about every time.
