Seized Airsoft. *Video*
YouTube - Airsoft Seizure
Airsoft news in another Country. Look at all those china air. So Canada is not just the only country trying to ban airsoft eh? Shame... Airsoft always gets a negative public reputation! Another video posted by a user here. YouTube - airsoft on closeup This video seems to be positive towards airsoft instead of the video I posted. Sorry but the distributor won't buy them back. They don't have to.

Thats was New Zealand. I saw a very favorable airsoft video come from the news there last year (repost - YouTube - airsoft on closeup)
Maybe if it comes down to it we can agree to a 500fps outdoor MINIMUM field limit and a mercy rule and we can have airsofts registered AS firearms.

It's already law in Australia, New Zealand is just following suit.
I just find it odd that you can own rifles, semi auto handguns..... not sure about anything resembling assault rifles, but airsoft is banned because it looks too real. "Sure, you can buy a Colt AR-15 if you get the right licences, but don't even think about buying an airsoft M4!" |

Yeah you're right, das would be nicht gut. Even if it legalised ownership I'd rather just go real steel at that point. Having said that, haven't the walls been closing in on airsoft for years here though? I think its just too bad for NZ that their neighbored up to Oz, as was pointed out above. I don't feel the doomsday clock closing in on our hobby here though.
