Tanaka USP, KJW slide
Hi!
I was shocked today to have the slide on my Tanaka USP Blow right off... The slide is totally useless now... I noticed a small crack when I first purchased it, but I thought nothing of it, until now. I have heard that KJW copied Tanaka's design, so is it safe to assume that a KJW metal slide would fit a Tanaka? Could someone take a picture of their KJW USP's slide (when field striped) so I can see if it matches my Tanaka? I am willing to take a chance and buy a KJW slide to see if I can get it to fit, but first I want to be sure it is remotely the same. Thanks a ton Last edited by avid; January 17th, 2007 at 07:39.. |

my Tanaka P8 HW slide also failed. i had been told that only the old version Tanaka USP pistols were compatible with KJW slides. having previously owned a KJW, and looking at the current Tanaka slide, i have come to realize that this is indeed the case. bad for you, bad for me
