Need help with measures of Drop Zone
Hi
I want to order a Drop Zone Recce Smoke. My problem is that I need the exact measures of the sizes L and XL. I tried to find them on their site but couldn't find them. Would be nice if someone could help me thanks Chainviper |

they fit VERY big
ie. you can fit alot of clothing under it. when I go for jackets, I'm usually looking at larges myself. I went to one shot tactical last weekend (they're a distributor of DZ kit) and I tried on a large, it was bloody HUGE on me. a medium fit about how I like my jackets to fit. just enough room in there to throw on two or three layers in colder weather. so trust me when they say on the site that they're big, they're hugely big. so odds are you'd probably be gtg with a large. if they weren't so expensive I'd already have one *sigh* maybe in the next six months, maybe. I generally wear large shirts (42" chest) and the medium recce smock is still HUGE like Yeoman said. Even if you have a 48" chest, the medium should still give you plenty of room inside for fleece, etc.
Just go by the fact that they are made very much oversized on purpose. Same as the OPs BDUs, the pants I have are medium, I wear a 34" pants, these will fit up to 36 I think. But the inseam is freaking long! I usually go by 33" for jeans, these pant legs can literally go over my heel, and forward half my size 10.5 foot. Side note, if you are planning to order a smock, send Farmboy a PM. He runs One Shot Tactical and sells the DZ BDUs and smock, he can give you a better price than what you'd pay on the DZ site. Or you can contact Brian at DZ directly, he might give you a good price as well. Last edited by CDN_Stalker; January 14th, 2007 at 11:38.. |

Hi
thanks for thr reply but my problem is not the chest size rather then the body hight. I'm 197 cm it should be 77.56 inches so I often have problems with the length of the sleeves. From my shoulder to my wrist it is about 23 to 24 inches. That is why I normaly buy these kind of things in XL. But this time I'm not sure and if it doesn't fit I have to pay this high shipping fees because I live in Germany. |

don't worry it's still big that way my good man.
it's a HUGE jacket all around in general. arm sleeves, shoulders, and the overall length of the jacket. Greg |

Why don't you just e-mail or phone Brian at Drop Zone directly? His showroom and sewing-shop share the same building. If needed he could give you the exact measurments himself. That is why they have contact info on their site...
