My custom Silencer on a TM P226

Last week my handgun felt on the ground. The outer barrel cracked then and the inner barrel was moving a bit.

I decided that I would fix this and by the same time, build a silencer, just for the look.

So here is what it gave..

*edit* I have used this gun tonight at the paintball field...It is preaty accurate! Even compared to before the break! The brass coupling I used to make the treads and holding the inner barrel is tighter around it, so the shots are a lot more consistent!

Before painting:

After painting:

Sorry, the pictures are not done yet... will have to wait!

Will definitely look better when its painted.

Otherwise, you can use the 226 in the bathroom as a toilet paper dispensor.

Pretty cool though

Very well done!

If you don't mind me asking, what thread size did you use for the silencer/ outer barrel?

I don't exactly know...

Just brough the outer/inner barrels at Home Depot and looked for something nice.

I used some brass couplings for pipes. They fit perfectly the inner barrel and are about the same size as outer barrel (just a bit larger, does not appear when the slide is in place.
