Airsoft Newb, trapped in Japan...send help..
I'm visiting my brother for a couple of weeks in Fukuoka, Kyushu. There's a stellar airsoft shop and my brother and alot of guys in his dorm have purchased various GBB pistols and AEG rifles/subguns.
Now here's the problem, these guys have been here for months, and even speak a little Japanese, but they're at a loss for finding somewhere to play, maybe even against locals. We chase each around the dorm but its getting messy and the non players can get a little frustrated. If someone here could point me towards a Japanese forum or something comparable I would greatly appreciate it. Arigato!

Why not ask the shop where they buy it from?

Why not just ask the shop-keeps where to play? Kinda... y'know... goes without saying.
-edit- DAMNIT ILLUSION!

I've kind of assumed they have, because it does seem pretty obvious. I'll ask, but any websites would be helpful too. I tried googling but I havent seen anything positive. Although I did see an ad by a guy I was shooting last night, rather comical.

I suggest they ask again, or do what I do and hang out at the store until other people come in and start looking at airsoft guns. Then chat them up and become friends. If your buddy is white, he'll make a friend pretty quickly as long as he states he is Canadian and --NOT-- a yankee.
God damnit those retards gave alot of us other white-looking folk a bad name. But don't get me started on other races of people in Japan... there's two I hate... I'll get into that later. But yes, tell your buddy to ask again, or hang out. If they haven't already asked, please shit in his pillow-case on my behalf, ok?

Aquamarine: Surprise! I was there with an American...
Generally, I like Americans but I do agree that I get treated better when I establish my nationality.

Theres a funny stereotype in Japan, people think that all Americans are armed to the teeth. I kinda think thats pretty funny.
What else I find funny is that once you establish your Canadian or from any other country than America they respect you more.
