When I was over there I worked very closely with 2Pl, which Capt Croucher led. I had some good friends that were in the LAV with him get pretty buggered up as well and even more friends who got seriously injured in the blast that injured MCpl Kai Hesser. (He replaced me me as the Coy Sig when I was on my HLTA otherwise I would have been in that LAV when it got hit)
I'm glad to hear that John is making a long, but positive recovery and that he has some excellent support with his family and friends. I know where he is working here in Vancouver so I may drop by to see him and say hello. -Saryet, out!-
