Adjustable beam surefire?

I'm looking for an adjustable beam surefire... I'm hoping to use it as a blinding / Quick aiming thing for CQB...

Anyone know if such thing exists (For under 150 bucks)?

surefire for under 150, I may be wrong, but they are pretty pricey.

There are other brands like Wolf Eyes that you can get for much less. Same light intensity, maybe not the same build quality and customer support.

I'm not sure why you would be looking for ajustable beam, but surefire G2s can be had for $60ish bucks and work plenty well for blinding folks in CQB.

I'm planning on using it as a quick targetting thing, instead of a laser... But I'll look into the G2's...

You won't be able to target acuratly with a surefire. Those lights are made for CQB lighting, not aiming.

I only recently bought my first surefire, but I got the G2 first and didn't like it that much, and ended up with a E2E and love it. The G2 is just as bright and you can upgrade the lamp, but I like the solid metal constuction on the E2E.

If I could afford it I would get the M6.

As far as im concerened anyting over 150 is not something u want in ur eyes. 110 is pushing it from some flashlights.

G2 works great for this purpose and is only 65 lumens. Anything dimmer won't really qualify as tactical. Strobing the lamp is more effective in CQB than sheer intensity anyway.

If you are referring to the CR123A batteries, $2.50 each is a dream! Beats the hell outta buying a pair at Future Shop or Best Buy for $18!!!!! I was doing that as well to feed my Streamlight Scorpion, until I found bulk order sales at DigiKey, pack of 10 for $32CDN. Luckily, I use my Scorpion a lot at work, and just add batteries to the odd Digikey order I place, and the government picks up the tab for my 'illumination' (Hehe, gotta love usage justification that can extend over to airsoft). :wink:

To be rated "tactical", a taclight must output a minimum of 60 lumens, acording to surefire. (they are leading the market on this, so they are the benchmark at this time.)

To have an unsafe lumen output in a taclight, you will spend an unsafe amount of money on it. The 120 lumens lamps are safe to use, but not very pleasent.

My taclight have an output of 90 lumens. It's bloody powerfull and quite enough for CQB use. 60 lumens is enough to blind someone in a CQB environement.
