BB Comparison needed: KSC, AE, TM, Excel
Hi,
I'm trying to find the most accurate 0.2g BB out of all the different BB brands, but have yet to find any conclusive reviews. The brands i'm interested in are: KSC, AE, TM, and Excel. If anyone knows of a comparison between these, specifically how they compare in terms of accuracy, please post a link. Thanks -Cuppo |

Guarder my friend. Easiest to find and come in 5000 counts for ~25 bucks. And each BB has been perfect for me so far.
AE are also good. |

Each gun is different too, don't forget that, my gun doesn't like KSC they keep jamming, but it loves Tokyo Marui made BB's. Not to mention I only use .25's, not so effected by a breeze and leaves. Right now i'm going to be testing the BB Bastard bb's that I just got in to see how they work and if my gun likes them or not.

I've been using BB Bastard and AE almost exclusively for the last while and I notice no difference at all, both perform perfectly. I've heard some bad things about TM's size consistency (none are too big but many are quite a bit smaller) but that was unconfirmed , as said guarder work very well, and I used to use KSC 0.20's (all BB's mentioned previously are 0.25's) in stock guns (no tightbores) and never ran into a problem but didnt know enough back then to watch for shot consistency so I dont know how they perform there.

FWIW I understand that Guarder BBs are slightly oversize and are specifically NOT for use in 6.01mm tightbores because there is a high likelihood they will jam. They may even not be for tightbores period, never used them myself so I don't recall. It's an interesting concept though, rather than constricting your bore you oversize your BB and achieve the same result.

I wouldn't say Guarder isn't meant for tightbore...
I use Guarder 0.28g BBs exclusively in a 590mm 6.03mm Prometheus tightbore with zero jams to date. |

Most of my guns seem to like the AE .25's, BB Bastard .25's and Guarder .25's
My P226 loves the Guarder .28 and any higher weight BB's. Ultimately, buy a known brand name (not that CTC/Walmart crap). Try several and see what gives you the best performance, then poof you have "your" best brand. "Your" = the brand that works best for you, as everyone on here will have a thousand different opinions and arguements for you. Last edited by BloodSport; November 1st, 2006 at 20:39.. |

Forgot to mention that I use Airsoft Elite almost exclusively (as it's what's available locally) and have never had a problem.
