For those who'd like to know
If you send an email to any address that ends with @canada.gc.ca about airsoft, this is what you'll get as an answer. It is a standardized answer, unless you make yourself sound like you're a business looking to import for movies/props. Enjoy reading what I deal with every day.
Information regarding the regulations on importing air-soft guns into Canada is accessible from the "Memorandum D19-13-2" section of the Canada Border Services Agency Web site at the following URL: Air Soft Guns http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/E/pub/cm/...tml#P133_21776 Information on the importation of a replica firearm into Canada is accessible from the "Importing a Firearm or Weapon Into Canada" section of the above-mentioned Web site at the following URL: Replica Firearms http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/E/pub/cp/...html#P145_4714 We also invite you to contact the Border Information Service (BIS) by telephone and speak to an agent directly for additional assistance with your enquiry. You can access the BIS line free of charge throughout Canada by calling 1-800-461-9999. If you are calling from outside Canada, you can access the BIS line by calling (204) 983-3500 or (506) 636-5064 (long-distance charges will apply). If you call during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time, Monday to Friday, except holidays), you can speak directly to an agent by pressing “0” at any time. The Canada Border Services Agency reports through Parliament through the Minister of Public Safety. Please submit your comments to Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day. Contact information for the minister is accessible from the "Contact Us" section of the Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada Web site at the following URL: Contact the Minister http://www.psepc-sppcc.gc.ca/abt/electronic-en.asp
