ICS AK 74M Not shooting BBs
I’m having a problem with an ICS AK 74M. There has only been about 500 rounds through the gun but now no BB’s will come out. The gun fired once, then the next shot had no BB. I tried a few more shots but still no BB. I made sure the barrel was not jammed and it was clean. I took a few more shots and then the BB’s just fell out of the barrel or went two feet. The gun does seem to shoot normal rate of fire and even sounds fine but no BB will fire. I stripped the gun down and looked down the barrel at the hop up and when I move the lever the hop-up moved up and down. I checked the forum for this same type of problem and read about the BB going through the barrel when the hop-up is off. When I place a bb in the barrel I have to push it past the hop-up when it is fully off. What goes wrong with the hop-up? Is there a way to test the gun to make sure the hop-up is the problem? I don’t want to open the gear section of the gun because it may not go back together. Any ideas?:banghead:

Cylinder head or tappet plate might be broken, piston head might be loose as well. I suggest taking it to the gun doc.
You can try checking nozzle and tappet plate. Make sure that nozzle is in most forward possition, than push it in. Thing should go back after you release it. |

Bartek (manchovie) is good with AEG's but he's in Poland right now. He should be back soon.
Ray (Raygis LasVegas) is good too. Both of them are in GTA. |
