P99 fixed slide gas venting
Hi,
I bought a Maruzen P99 NBB on Ebay and can not find any info on maintenance. (No manual). I have tried duster, HFC134a and green gas and the gun vents the charge on the first shot. The seller claims that this has never happened to him and I just have to lube the gun. Can anyone offer advice on field stripping or otherwise getting to the root of the problem? Thanks. |

vent all the gas and spray silicon oil into the mag valve.
Keep the Mags clean and valve luubed to reduce friction that will keep the valve from sliding back to the close position. If it's still having this problem after you lubed the mag valve then you'll have to lube the sliding hammer in the slide. There are 2 Pins on the frame near the slide. Push them out and lift the back end up. Proceed with cleaning and lubing and then reassemable. or just buy a new mag LOL.
