Top M249 low velocity
Hello all,
Have a M249 that's acting up. Changed the bellows pistol to a brand new one. Also put in a 120% spring - Angs. All i can get for velocity is 160-180fps. Anyone got any experience with this? Thank you for your help. |

From, my experience reading these forums, it sounds like you have a piston problem, or a cylinder problem. You probably don't have a proper seal between the two.

Top doesn't use a piston and cylinder. Their version of a piston is a bellows set up. Sorry if i didn't clarify that

My gun Dr. is having the same problem with my TOP M249 he thinks that it is related to the HOP UP and a bad or missing seal. He's working on it as we speak. You might want to look in to that area as a source for your problem. On a related note does anybody have any detailed line drawings of TOP M249. We need to check all the parts that need to be there vs. the parts that are there.
