TOP MP5 Drum Mag - Canada?

I'll make this clear and quick for once. I'm hunting for a TOP MP5 single drum mag and it seems to be something of a rarity even outside Canada, so I'm wondering who exactly I would go to if I want to try and get one, as I don't see anybody locally who carries it. Any help or advice that you guys could offer would be extremely appreciated and I value your time in replying.

Redwolf has them, so if you talk to someone at a store in your area, they could probably get them in.

Oh! We can actually do that? I was under the impression that everything had to be ordered from Asia or not at all.

well, most retailers can get stuff like this...even if its is from asia...Since your looking for a Top drum mag, and since Top is from Japan, its prolly in your best intrest to go for it on a WGC/UNC order, or simply have a retailer bring it in for you. Like I always say, retailers usually list only what they commonly keep in stock, but they are not limited to what is on their websites.
I belive ASCA gets their TM guns from WGC...Ill bet they can get you anything WGC has with no issues.

Oooh, I see! Well that's extremely valuable information to know. I really hate to show my ignorance (because you guys go for blood) but what does the term "WGC/UNC" describe?

Since I used to own one, let me save you some cash, research and effort; you dont want one.

They are not dependable, you have to wind them up every so often, they are LOUD. When they unwind, they are as loud as an alarm clock.

Sup Giraffe (It's Amos, same one from Gaia)

I've been looking for drum mags aswell... And on Ebay I've come across quite a few... I know for sure there's Armalite Cmags, and AK ones.. Ever G36... I've seen everything from those to a Pistol Snail mag... So I'm fairly sure that there's a inexpensive mp5 drum mag up right now...

(Hey Amos!)

That's really disapointing Greylocks, but thank you for speaking from experience. Are the large electric ones shoddy like that too? At the very least I've learned that you can have this stuff ordered in and how to go about doing that, so it's nto a total loss.

Hero arms and Star make decent Drum mags for the armalites, Ak, G36, L85
they are electric winding and feed well. Usually holding 2500 to 3000 rounds.
I owned a hero arms one, and I know of several others who used them also with no problems for quite some time. With extreme use, the plastic gears that feed can get chewed up and die, but thats with extreme use. I heard good things about the Star Cmag also.

True enough.

I used a couple for Armalites (yes the TOP brand) and one suffered missfeeding and the other had its wind-up thingy snap clean off. Cheap ass metal. Not what I'd call a high quality item that's for sure.

Ah, okay, so that brand itself is the problem. It'll definitely be a bigger chunk of change for reliability. I guess I should have assumed that was the case. Those are the one with the pressure switches. Well, excellent! I'm not the type to "spray" but it would be nice to able to have that ability to play in a long-term support role without reloading in critical firefights.
