GBB AKM and AKS74U.

People on RA board claim that those guns cost around $2500USD. I wish I had extra 3500 CAD or so to waste

They appear to have an armalite version as well. Where do I sign up?

Thanks for the vids! Very nice GBBs, too bad the bolts move 2/3s of the way only... still very nice!

There is an Armalite...

There is also a gas M14 and EBR. Not sure who makes them.

The M14 sure as hell wastes alot of gas out of the ejection port per shot eh? Looks cool, but really quite a waste, especially if you have a small gas resevoir in the magazine...

The EBR is a custom build, I saw that video quite a while ago.. on arnies I think.

I can post up some links of guns using the escort gas blowback system if anyone wants (M16, M60, MG42, MP44, MP5, MP5SD, SVD, FAL...).

Cheers!

i found a "special" armalite from the same company. great to know that GBB rifles are back in the market can't wait to get one. but it shoots only 60-90m/s with .20, and it only eats 134a gas. i'm pretty sure upgrades and maintence are too expensive. so i think i'll wait for more manufactures to make it and have more upgrades readily avaliable then i'll get one.

edit: added

yeah but escorts uses external gas tanks and IMO wrecks the appearance of the airsoft gun (with a tube sticking out linking to a tank) and also its not as versatile. it would be great if they made internal gas resivoirs as well as external ones

While the cost of the mags will kinda suck, the flip side is that it'll lend to realism in multiple ways.... It has the added cool factor and realism of the blowback, but they can also be built more solidly, more guns that couldn't necessarily be produced before because of design compromises can be built, and the mags will weigh more, which to me, is a big thing, because guys will run around with WAY more mags than is realistic.... Giv'em a bunch of mags that weigh as much as they should, and we'll see what happens.

Yep, that would be the ultimate rifle for fielding I think. Escort guns are supposedely water proof as well...

Seeing how airsoft is really about realism, why are there no decent gas blowback rifles yet (when I say decent, I mean modern, and affordable, not a rare, airtank fed, expensive classic airsoft gun, athough those are truly amazing pieces of machinery!).

Either way... I really hope we get some decent gas blowback primary automatics.

Cheers!

I am also quite interested in this kind of thing... preferably something propane fed, not C02 though.

I think it would be great to have more gas blowback rifles and I've been searching for something like that that would be fairly usable for quite some time now.

In my opinion, gas filled magazines would be prefered, but I would also like the option of external air. Or propane for that matter.

...now make me one of those AKS-74U...preferably heavy blowback and fully automatic please...and metal / wood of cource.

That'd be something I'd drop alot for... $1000 or less would be prefered, but it's a sweet spot!

Too bad those new Escort gearboxes are semi auto for now, and v2, is it not?
Worst of all, they run off those stupid little C02 cartriges. Maybe a AK full stock full of gas would be nice
