Lightbulb Duster Gas versus Propane for GBB's

After finaly deciding to get a GBB pistol i came across the Airsoft Innovations site finding their propane adapter and reading how propane was the same as green gas at first i was a bit skeptical but then i was convinced that they were indeed the same. Now on airsoft canada armory's site (aka trumart) i found a neat lil thing called the duster adapter, it can make those lil dust cans for sprayin dust wit work as gas for your GBB. Now im trying to find which one is better duster gas or propane?

Depends on which gun you finally choose. Some work best with Duster (it's lower pressure). Others work best with propane.

So there is no other answer to your question except that you should read more on the subject, and then choose according to the gun you will pick.

This has been discussed before, so read what was said.

Well i was thinking bout a WA Xcelerator limited, and i did read more on the subject most threads just told me: does it work? ,adapters for dusters. but none had ane thin bout propane comparisin so thats wi i started the thread. but i think i'll go wit duster gas cuz like u said it's lower pressure and WA's can't realli handle higher pressures. Thanks for clearing that up for me greylocks

Choose a gun for quality and dependability. Choosing because of the gas is like choosing a car because of the tires. Makes little sense.

Dont know if you have been to a game, or a meet, or gotten age-verified yet, but you should.

It's not god-like; it's ALREADY written down in these forums. Stop typing for even 15 minutes and read instead?

How? Most of the FAQ are written up in simple English not like Shakespeare English or Chinese.

If you have trouble comprehending at age 20, that's something else we can't really help here.

Have trouble combining the answer on one thread with the answer on another? Seriously...... take your time to read.

if you iq is to low to find answers on this site then trust me airsoft is not for you, i think conecting a battery, filling a mag or reloading may be a little to complex.

Some guns need to run on duster because of their plastic slide and if they run on
propane and its hot out the pressure from the propane could potentially crack or damage
the slide.. some guns can handle propane out of the box.. i.e KSC Glock 19. But to
be honest.. find a gun that suits you and with little or no mods it can run on propane.
Some stock GBB guns will run on propane fine others wont in warm weather because
of the pressure inside the mag and the hammer wont hit it hard enough and you
will need to install a Enhanced Hammer Spring.. mind you if you have to do that I
would suggest a Metal Slide.. now as for a good out of the box GBB I would suggest
a KSC G19 as it is customizable up the wazooo and is a great performer.. now
for a full metal gun look at the WE GBB's almost all of them are full metal and some
just need a Enhanced Hammer Spring to run in hot weather but in regular temeratures
it will run fine on propane.. plus duster is expensive and propane is $3-$4 a bottle and
will last 50Mag fills .lol.. hope that helps

Dont you just love the people that say you can find the answer in the forums.. lol
