WA1911A1 wont blow-back
my WA1911A1 Government wont blow back anymore but it does still shoot the BB's out when i try to cock the slide.... i have lubed it several times already and it still wont work....
i tried taking-it down and there seems to be no broken part.... on the barrels and the other parts... except on the mechanism on the slide...which i cant seem to take-out.... any ideas on how to tke-out that slide mechanism? any ideas on how to solve the problem? thanks... |

Or equally likely:
You have a bent valve stem. Have you been using propane? What type of magazine is it? Are the valves on the magazines black? If so, I had this problem ages ago, and the solution is to swap out your valves for aftermarket steel ones. There seems to be an imperceptible warping of the valve inside causing the hammer strike to only release gas to fire the BB, but not lock the Magna-type valve head under the spring loaded retainer (allowing a full gas cycle to happen). I had custom valves turned for me by a friend, but you should be able to just buy aftermarket valves and have them work. That is (of course) if it isn't the shrunken o-ring. |
