FUSE HELP!

Hey I recently blew a fuse for my ICS MP5A2, its specs are 20A 250V and I couldn't find the same size or Amperage/voltage anywhere. Where could I get a new fuse or two so this problem can be fixed?

first id figure out why you blew the fuse. and fix the problem. try redwolf or ics themself

How *do* you blow a fuse? It would have to have so pretty serious upgrades in the gun to make it draw over 20A...

Canadian Tire has the fuses yo uwant in the automotive department, as do electronics' stores. You should only be concerned about the amperage rating and not so much the voltage rating (I tend to use 15A, 20A, 25A rated at 32V that I get from work) and the physical size of the fuse. And ya, I'd be looking into why your gun blew it and make sure the fuse actually DID blow and wasn't just that the connector didn't just fall off or something. If yo ublow more 20A fuses, try a 25A one. If yo ublow that, get your gun checked out asap.

I've searched alot of stores but to no use, I've tried Canadian Tire, Circuit City, and a bunch of stereo retail and repar stores....I plan to continue looking, thanks everyone for the reply.

That's funny cuz when I forget or am not at work, I pick them up at CT. It's a standard fuse, it's much harder to find good duster gas and good silicon oil than it is to find fuses. Maybe you are looking for 250V that is causing your problem. Seeing as how you battery is less than 10V there's no reason to need 250V. Trust me, they have the fuses in the automotive department at CT, chances are you might have to buy a selection pack, but as long as you get something with 20A, 25A or even 30A it'll work in your gun. Still, trying to sort out WHY the fuse blew will help diagnose your problem. Since you asked where to get fuses and have had a lot of answers where to reliably get them (yet you seem incapable of finding them), seems like this thread is done.

If you are trying to tell me that a Canadian Tire does not have regular automotive fuses, and that you looked, I dont buy it. Sorry, you did not look at all or you have zero idea what a fuse looks like.

As Stalker said; your gun has major problems if it blows fuses all the time. Have it checked.

I believe if you need to find what kind of fuse you need you can check a manual or go to depot53.com and they have lots of owners manuals for different gunts

Dear god... He NEEDS a NORMAL automotive fuse! How hard is that to find?
Nevermind, he cant find it so it must be hard/rare.
Cars in his area probably have no fuses at all.

He does not need a manual, he needs a clue. He needs to make a real effort instead of trying to tell us Canadian Tire sells no fuses.

The fuse class is called AGC. It's the most common fuse on the planet. Canadian Tire has boatloads of them 5 for $1.99.

If you can't for whatever reason get one there, go to a gas station and you can get one, or any place that sells anything automotive.

Greylocks, instead of bashing, just stop for the love of God.

How do you not know the places he was may of been out?

Have you ever gone to canadian tire and asked anyone anything? Have they ever pointed you in the right direction? At least here in Brantford the answer is hellzno.

But other than that....

Try checking www.canadiantire.ca and looking on there for it, and calling the store, and get ahold of someone who knows what they are doing at the store and they will probably help you out.

If not then, keep calling around, save your money with all the gas, use the phone first, saves lots of time and money and fustration.

You really shouldn't have much of a problem in the whitby area for finding one... Like I said just check the site dude, and give some calls.
