So... do any retailers carry the KA SVD Dragunov?
I was thinking about grabbing one next month but I see no retailers selling them (nor could I find any topics discussing the KA SVD).
Better yet: Does anyone here in Canada even have a King Arms SVD Dragunov? If so, feedback on the gun itself would be great. I found some reviews on the net but nothing useful (ie. Range, accuracy, customizability, etc.) |

Just claim you are looking to fix the lack of info you have, that should justify it.

Fair nuff! Lol, watch for the clean once moved.
BTW, I think yo ucan buy a Dragnov built already, gas I might mistake it to be, but I think you can buy a kit to convert an AK to one as well. Am no expert on this topic though. Hey look, we kept it on topic!!! |

The PDI gas dragunov has it's fair share of problems, and is really too expensive..
The guarder kit (as well as the knockoffs) don't give you a true dragunov, more something along the lines of a Romak 3 The KA/AtoZ spring dragunov is arguably the best reproduction of this rifle, just make sure you get the second version which comes with real wood furniture! If you are seriously interested in ordering this in, head on over to any of the canadian retailer sites and shoot them an inquiry. They will most likely gladly take your business - but shop around first so you don't get taken for a ride. |

Head over to Airsoft Retreat's Sniper Perch and ask them about the quality of the Dragunov. I know a few of them have one.

How embarassing :[ According to reviews, the gun itself isn't built too well. All reviews have noticed that the lacquer is done poorly and sometimes non-existant in hard to reach areas (as if they applied the lacquer after the gun was assembled). Another concern I have is, is that the users have taken note that several screws holding it together loosen over time. I really like the Dragunov look but I'm not sure I want to field a gun that will fall apart on my first game :[ Decisions decisions... -VM |
