Take the bolt catch off by pushing the roll pin holding it onto the reciever. Then on the underside you will see a spring and a raised area, circular, standing out about 2 mm. File that bastard down and reassemble.

Now when you pull your bolt all the way back with your right hand, push down (as in toward the ground) with your left thumb and release your bolt handle. Voila!

To release the bolt either tap the bolt handle or press up on the bolt catch.

The whole desk - pretty good table for working on aeg's etc. Grabbed it @ crappy tire during the last big crazy sale...

Of note is the portable DVD player on top for watching movies, I'm gonna run some speakers into the room from my computer, but for now my cellphone does a nice job for music.

watch out for the locking bolt mod, i did it to mine and after some time the catch wont catch anymore. the soft metals of both the release button and bolt are the problem, i think thats why marui pluged up the bolt catch so it doesnt work.

Droc - It's "being shipped this week" - never, ever deal with "Fred's M14 Stocks" absolute sh!t customer service...

DevGru - I had a feeling that might be the case - I'll make sure to pull back on the bolt to release vs just slapping the bolt catch, thanks!
