FA-MAS problem
hey, I bought a FAMAS F1 for like $200 used with the just about everything to get started even with a spare gearbox .. the one that's inside has a upgraded motor and spring.. I think the fps is 380 .. Not 100% sure but I was looking at it and I noticed it has no HOP-UP!! so yeah.... It didn't some with any box's nor manuals I like the gun.. But I was wondering if it was a really old model of the gun before the hop-up version? :???: , I have tryed looking online and not finding a thing... So I was wondering if there's a way of where I could like install hop-up in ti or like something? Anyway any help will be appreciated thank you

It's a good idea that you do. Not everyone publish an article on every finding they make. They aren't doctors trying to get their names into medical journals.

are you sure it doesnt have hop-up, ive never actually seen one w/o. it should be located on the top rear of the gun behind the carry handle. its a small circle dial that you turn to adjust.

The original incarnation of the TM FAMAS didn't have hopup. If he got his hands on a cheap, really old one, it's possible.
Like SWAT said, if there is a hopup it's located underneath the ejection port cover (on the stock); remove the plastic cover and you'll see a small dial. If there isn't one it's because you have an older model.
