USP help needed

KSC USP full size. Stock internals, metal slide and barrel. Propane.

Concen is, the brass poppet valve underneath the hop up. the valve keeps hyperextending causing my inner barrel assy to disengage from the outer barrel (ie. with no mag installed the inner barrel will slide back into the gun, visable when the slide is cocked) with a mag the gun works untill the poppet vale lets go, then the gun wont discharge.

I believe that because my poppet is extending too much, its pushing the inner barrel up so high that it is preventing the c-clip from catching the pin that is suppose to lock it in place. which causing the concern, anybody ran into this and solved it?
