How to install Guarder Steel kit on TM G26? Problem with barrel installation
Hi, Im considering buying the Guarder Metal kit for my TM G26, but how do you install the steel outer barrel on the marui stock innerb barrel assembly? Because unlike the marui stock outer barrel which can flex for you to insert in the inner barrel, the steel outer one cannot, and theres a knob blocking you to slide in the marui stock inner barrel onto the steel outer barrel.
Can any TM G26 owners with the Guarder kit installed enlighten me? Thanks alot. |

Ya, the steel outer barrel is missing the little hook piece that the knoby-thing on the hopup unit catches.
Metal works great, and it's easier to disassemble/reassemble. Go Metal! muahha |

Huh? Can please explain Mirage? Lol because for my Zeke Metal Barrel for my TM G26, the metal hook piece snapped off when my gunsmith friend tried to install it! Can you believe that? And it revealed that Zeke products use pot metal for their slides and barrels. Plus, the Zeke metal slide is a very poor fit have to do filing on my glock frame rails. Very disappointing quality. I wont buy Zeke ever again.
So the Guarder kit has no problems at all? I thought I also saw that hook piece on the steel barrel on pics at Un co or so, how to fit in the innner barrel set with that hook blocking it?:: http://www.uncompany.com/pageproduct...asp?prodid=638 Thanks for clearing this issue up. |

This is a two month old thread but barrel on the Guarder kit DOES have that thing that the hop up unit catches..it looks the exact same as the plastic TM outer barrel
