Opinions on a good sniper sidearm!?!

I'm going to write what I'm looking for and hopefully i will receive some POSITIVE answers! Not some stupid comments, or people calling me something dumb like "noob" and spelling it "nub".

I want an airsoft handgun to carry on me when we are playing, cause i want to be our teams main sniper position. so what I'm looking for is:

1.) High Capacity Clip (like 100 rnds or something <can be with a hi cap upgrade>)

2.) Pretty Good FPS (doesn't need to be great, but decent distance would be nice)

3.) Non-Gas, Springer or Electric (electric is preferred)

4.) Lots of ups would be nice (i love to be able to slowly upgrade my stuff)

Well if anyone has any suggestions please post them with the model and brand. Just try not to make them 600 dollar hand guns, lol. I'm looking to spend like around 150-200 (which i don't think is to low?).

Thanks everyone!

- Nick

TM Glock 18c AEP w/hicap mag. It's more than $200 though.

EDIT: Just noticed you're a Yankee, so maybe $200US would do it.

Mangler the EBB and AEP are actually completely different guns; they're just bothed based on the G18c. You'd be a hundred fold happier with the AEP, although the AEPs have much limited upgradeability. Because the MP7 is based on the on the AEP internals and I would advise against it.

The only gun which fufills all your needs is the MP5k. It's priced about the same as the MP7, yet is more practical (From what I've read). There are some really nice holsters available for them too.

AE has some nice prices: http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/...x&cPath=364_67

Actually the MP5K is a good bit cheaper than the MP7, at least in Canada, like 330$ for the K and 500$ for the 7.

Yeah I just modded my first post - I was pulling prices off Airsoft Atlanta, who seems to have much higher prices than AE.

Ok i wanted a handgun for size, but a smaller UZI or MP5 would be nice.

My main want is a LARGE capacity Magazine!

Does the MP5 from Tokyo Mauri have a High Capacity Mag upgrade?

An uzi has a nice handgun style with a big clip?

anyone know of any good uzi's?

The main advantage of the MP5K as a sidearm is the fact that you can return fire at the same rate as the buggers with AEGs who got inside your sniper range.

Size shouldn't be an issue - I mean you should be mostly immobile (while sniping) anyways.

As for mags there are two options with a "large" ammo capacity.

1) TM or compatible brand hi-caps
My TMs like to jam. I've read praises and complaints concerning other brands. There's winding involved.
ammo cap: 200
2) G&P Midcaps
I now own four of these things. No winding, well priced, full metal, no jams.
ammo cap: 100

Take your pick.

My vote goes to the MP5K. Best price to performance ratio.

It's made by ICS. If i'm not mistaken it's full metal.

I have no ICS experience. Google a review or something. The K seems best for your applications.

I personally like a gun with a stock attached to it. I'm not used to having a stockless weapon. So if you rather have a side arm with a stock, I would recommend the MP5 PDW. It is exactly the same as the K and it has a collapsible stock, but I find that the stock is a little flimsy.

highcaps rattle = suck
any AEG can be modded to have a battery wired externally so size shouldnt be an issue, but remember, this is a backup gun. A mini should be fine, if anything just grab another battery for it.

ICS makes great guns (latest versions) for the price, full metal. MP5K should be alright but can be a little aquard to carry with you, a decent sling or a proper SMG rig should be ok.

If I were you and didnt want a gas gun I would go for the AEP G18C, good range, good ROF, super compact and 100 round non rattle hicaps. There are more and more AEP upgrades coming out. Like I said earlier, dont forget you still have to carry this around with you all day. Its also a backup, and if your not looking to spend a lot of cash I would stay away from an AEG.

Oh, and one last thing ITS A MAG for the love of god, MAG not CLIP!!
