Is a VSR gspec worth $600 USD in the USA?
SORRY ABOUT THE CRAPPY ORIGINAL TITLE, THANKS FOR THE RENAME!
I dont quite remember all the specs, but a kid wants to sell me his VSR-10, so i have a group question for everyone! Is this whole lot worth $600? This is what he is including: (i have already chosen to go with the VSR-10, so if i get this kids stuff or not i will be getting a VSR-10) VSR-10 W/Tight Bore (dont know if it has hopup, sorry) - VSR-10 Has 130 Upgrade Spring (shoots 340 with .2g) VSR-10 Is painted in full cammo A Tactical Gun bag A custom sniper style ghillie suit A pair of fingerless shooting gloves A Ghillie hat A Pair of Sniper BDU's A working silencer (suposedly not the one that comes with the VSR-10) A 3-9X 48mm Green Dot Scope (possible has a laser, i dont remember) Under Mount Weaver Rail for Bipod Mounting (I remember there being more, If there is more ill post it as soon as i know, also he is supposed to send me pics of it all tonight and i will post those too.) Im going to try to get it all for 500 because 600 is just the slighest bit to high for all that i think! Thats why i asked you guys, so tell me what you think. I am getting the gun to upgrade it! here is my list i have so far: *Laylax pss10 ps170 spring: 558 fps* Needed: -Spring -Trigger sear -Piston sear -Spring guide -Spring guide stopper -High pressure piston -Silent damper Piston head ---Comes to around $175 or so! All parts listed are at the VERY bottom of this page. http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/upgrades.htm -Nick |

your talking $600 USD right?
You might want to ask on an American forum given how inflated Canadian prices are. Something that seems like a hell of a deal to us, might actually be crap for you.

I suggest getting the zero trigger rather than a bunch of sears.

Hmm... well, new G-Spec is 200$ (somewhere round there)(USD )... so you've got to ask your self, is everything else worth 400 (USD). Personally, I don't think so, considering you can buy everything else new for cheaper... Just my opinion...

Your best bet is to save yourself major hassle and get everything new. For 500 or 600 US dollars you can get a hell of alot of stuff and the good thing is no one has ever used it before.
You will never know how the person selling you the item handled that thing or how he treated it. Getting everything new is the way to go. |

At night, you are quite likely to shoot from much closer than during the day. Even during the day, this level of power is far too much. The point of this game is to TOUCH someone with a plastic BB, not embed it in their face. Buy a really good first-aid kit. |
