Can Maruzen Micro Uzi and TM GBBs take propane gas long term?
I read in Redwolf that the gun can take HFC22 (propane) but which would reduce its shelf life. However, how long would that 'reduced' life be? Like the TM beretta on HFC22 gas? From what I heard if not wrong, the TM beretta on HFC22 can last 10k - 20k rounds? Because once the micro uzi is damaged will be impossible to get upgrades or replacement parts, unlike metal kits for the TMs.
Actually can all TM GBBs take TOP gas and last very long? Say 10k - 20k BBs? Inc the G26? |

Most Japanese guns are weak and may break after limited use with propane. I hear about people using it in TM guns and having no problems sometimes, other times they get a broken slide or some other internal part.
Maruzen guns are especially plasticy and toyish internally, externally as well. If the Micro uzi is anything like their other SMG's, almost all internals will be plastic and will break after using propane a few times. |

Usually what I do with my Maruzen VZ61 Scorpion is fill it with a one second burst of propane and the rest with duster. This increases the fps and rof to a much safer level then using propane alone. Plus as you accurately stated before, parts for maruzens cant be found so you want to be extra careful with these guns.
Maruzen smg's do shoot very well on duster alone, but its just so tempting to get the harder kick and increased rof and fps from propane. Ultimately the choice is yours; Propane= shorter life possible breakage in 1 mag duster= long life, weaker performance I would imagine that the way that I fill the mags would be somewhere in the middle of the 2 scenarios above. There is definatly a noticable change in performance, even with just a one second burst of propane. |
