Buying scope/mounts/lasers outside canada?

Ive tried searching but had no luck.

Im just wondering is it safe to import scopes/mounts/lasers from outisde of canada. Maybe from US or HK.

Or do I have to pay the higher prices in canda for them?

You can get excellent prices for all this stuff in Canada. Why not start here?

With shipping and stuff its pretty much the same....unless you buy a huge load and manage to sell some off for profit I say its not worth it,

Dragoon, you should have very few issues (if any) with importing those into the country. There are a FEW that are regulated (ACOG if I recall) but otherwise, go hog-wild! Just be prepared to pay shipping and potential customs fees.

Scopes are considered sighting devices and can't be shipped outside the US from within the US. They're ok to order from anywhere else.

what are you talking about? the us only restricts sales on certian optics not all of them. if they did companies such as bushnell would be out of buisness.

Watch for custom charges...

I shipped (5) bags of Excel .2 bb's from my US (Washington) office to a customer in ON last week and before they would even release the package to him, he was required to pay some $45 CAD in customs charges. For FIVE bags of bb's.

Did you happen to ship by UPS? If so, there's your problem. Expect to pay high brokerage fees using them.....

Haven't had much trouble in the past w/UPS and customs rape??

Anyhow, you're not the first one to say this...I'll be looking into FedEx, etc.
