Thats the Elcan C79 sight, you can find copies around, but if you want the real deal expect to pay a heavy price

*sigh* I was just trying to get a quick answer. I'm sorry it's such a pain to answer a question.
But anyway, I don't have the kind of money to throw around on a real scope. I've found the Samuri Elcan replica, and one that features illuminated reticle, both for about $300.00 and more. |

Trust me when I say, you dont want an Elcan sight, the damn things weigh more than the C7....

Samurai elcan if you want a near perfect exterior copy with a decent zoom. if you like the illuminated more than go with the other elcan...that one I beleive is in use by the US more. but I could be wrong. the illuminated is not the C79 however. as for the quick answer its how you worded the question.. is all.

Thanks!
Ah! Great! That's exactly what I want then, since I'm going for an accurate modern Canadian look.
Sorry. I'll try to be more specific in the future. The Internet is so... impersonal. |

I've seen and bought surplus C79 scopes for as low as 100$ up to 600$. New they range from 900$ to 1300$. The average cost for surplus is about 400 ish and they are easy to find, if you know where to look. I've never bothered with replicas as I know I can find real ones for cheaper...I paid 200 for my current one....
