Grenade Launcher Frenzied Mayhem
I've never actually used or seen one in use, how exactly do airsoft grenade launchers work? And are the stand alone ones worth 435 USD?

If you mean the 40mm grenade launchers (M203, M79, GP30, etc) they're basically shells that hold a lot of gas, with a varying number of tubes filled with BBs (depending on the capacity... usually between 24 to 165 BBs). The launchers themselves are very simple: pulling the trigger simple moves a striker forward, which pushes into a gas release valve at the base of the shell. When the valve opens, all the gas rushes out, blowing out the BBs like a giant shotgun.
Some variants (slug grenades) don't have tubes to load BBs, and instead have a plastic/rubber cap; it gets launched when gas is released. And since its worth about $10, you spend the rest of the afternoon looking for it in the woods. Kinda like an Easter Egg hunt, but without the eggs. Or chocolate. Or fun. And no, its not worth USD$435. WTF did you get that price?
