Canuck Airsoft

For those of you interested in World War 2 Canadian Gear, this website will prove to be a extrememly huge help. It covers the Canadian Forces from 1900-1999. VERY HANDY indeed

http://www.canadiansoldiers.com/

I should have a bit of my field gear soon, and have my alternate impression complete by the summer

One of my teammates picked up his own complete kit here in Winnipeg 2 years ago:

Before you mention the Tommy gun, yes, Canada bought them from the US and used them in Sicily prior to being outfitted with the Sten/Sterling by Mother Britannia. It's been researched to death. It's authentic.

Nice Helmet....I actually had one exactly like that as a kid..don't know what ever happened to it as I moved away from home when I was 17.

My Great Uncle served with the Cape Breton Highlanders so he has briefed me. Don't get me wrong, the Thompson is 100% sexy, but it is too common for me If anything I want to undertake a huge project to convert a springer rifle into a No. 4 Enfeild or possibly build a sten gun.

Phycho, I would love to, but there are some inherent problems with obtaining WW2 Canadian wool. The first is that original sizes only really exist in the VERY small sizes, and to find one for a average height can be exceptionally hard. Reproductions do not exist, unfortunately, but British sets can be dyed to the proper colour quite easily.

Another route is to buy postwar sets, but again the sizes are disappearing and I've never liked wearing improper gear.

Cool, theres ust something about the German gear that is very fascinating, as opposed to the Canuck stuff.
