SD front on a G&G GR16-R4
Hello everyone, i'm buying a new G&G GR16-R4 (SR16) and would like to make it have an SD front like this:
http://www.airsoftmart.net/catalog/i...G-03-027-L.jpg but to buy an actual M4 SD conversion kit costs like 400$ because it includes RIS and stuff (which is already on a SR16) so i was wondering what kind of barrel i would need so that i could pull off the same look with out spending so much. thanks. |

What he can do is:
-Take off front iron sight -Take off flash suppressor -thread his outter barrel with a dye set -get a customly made suppressor to go over it. Wont be THE same, but look close to.... Cost effective. |

you can also just get an ops-style silencer and do it that way. you won't have the free-floater look, but it would only cost about $100. and all you'd have to do is lose the sight tower and flashider. everything else stays and install would take about 5 min.

something like this
http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...7SD350_cat_JET Custom you may want to get a flip up front site or use an aimpoint or something. and an ops style silencer (8") won't do alot of silencing unless you put in a shorter outer barrel. but for a quick and easy "look" change, this one works. |
