KSC HK33
I just saw the KSC HK33 on redwolf. These are KSC's first AEGs I think. They have a very interesting feature, the ability to manually cock just like a springer. So they can be used without a battery. Good for situations when your battery dies. Hope these will be good quality and some other models come out.

I think these have been around for a while. But I havn't seen anyone with one or any retailers have it listed on there sites. I have one coming in hopefully this week or the next. I'll update here some first impression when it comes in.

The Classic Army CA33E looks FAR better in my opinion.

From the reviews I've read, the KSC is better in nearly every way to the CA.

Really? That's impressive because I've never heard a bad thing about the CA. Too bad then, maybe I should have waited and ordered a KSC.

I have the CA one and I've had zero problems with it so far (4000+rnds). With a 9.6v batt it has a good rate of fire and there is no squeeky noises that come from it at all, very solid. The only thing is that the high cap mags don't want to fit fast, but the low caps snap in very quickly. I've chronied it at average 315 fps with .20 bb's even after the 4000+ rnds.

I've held the CA33E here in the States. They are great stuff... more and more people are getting guns from CA rather than Marui here in USA.
CA is high quality, pre upgraded, and full metal. If you've never had the newer versions of the CA guns, u dunt understand. I've seen a CA M15A4 SPC going through 15 000 rounds, no problems whatsoever. Just a few scratches and wearings from handlings, thats about it. They are rock solid. As for the KSC one, I'll get my hands on one when I go back in Taiwan this winter |

I own a CA33E, and I can definitely tell you that there are a number of design flaws, as well as just crappy QA. I'd take a KSC over it stock, but I've invested enough money in mine as it is to want to keep it.
15000 rounds is nothing. Stock Marui AEGs can take hundreds of thousands of rounds. I realize that the M15A4 is actually a very well made, and definitely one of CA's most reliable, but most of their guns are just not well made.

I read a couple reviews of the KSC version. It doesn't look half bad, it's more expensive, which doesn't bother me but I'm sure it would bother some people. As far as performance it doesn't shoot as fast, but apparently has better trigger response. Also there were a couple complaints about weak mechbox, but I get the feeling the gun is fairly new and therefore it's hard to say. Either way I think it doesn't look as nice as the CA (I know they're the same basic gun, but there are differences). I think if I'd been willing to wait longer I might have got one of these...but I'm not sure, there's just not enough info out there yet it doesn't seem. So as it stands I'm glad I ordered my CA.

It's a great gun to look and hold... I don't think the CA version comes close to the details the ksc put into this gun. They gave the serious thoughts into the design since almost every part's meterials are chosen so that they would not wear and scratch each other.
As for game use.... not recomending... the metal body is too nice to get them scratched, battery change will takes some time, and it's kinda heavy. |
