I have a noobie question for you. Sry

(I hope this is in the right section)

Seeing as how customs will seize guns, and even gun slides and frames, do you think I can order bags of BB's and green gas from a US dealer. Sorry for this stupid quesiton, but it would save me a whole lot of money, and I know if I want to airsoft, I should be more commited and spending the extra 90 bucks, but I really don't want to, if I don't have to. So if any of you know, thank you, so much!

Why would you want to order bb's from a us based website? No they won’t get seized; however the green gas might (because it doesn’t meet the dangerous goods act for packaging or something) Just order from Canadian retailers, in the end, it usually turnes out to be a whole lot cheaper and you can get some really good deals if you order stuff like that through a group order.

Only via ground shipping (carrier regulations, not laws).

Realize, you're gonna pay customs a shitload. Not to mention, the exchange rate (even if favourable), and the insane shipping fees from the States I've thus seen so far.

Dealers in the States are bullshitters. 25 bucks "administrative fee", plus actual shipping via a super-expensive carrier? Fuck that, I've had a motherboard (which would weigh approximately the two bag of BB's plus a can of green gas) for 12 bucks.

FYI green gas = propane. Search the forums, a few adaptors are sold to attach to the 3 dollar propane tanks used for camping stoves.

I found 10,000 BB's for 8 bucks US, which would be something like 9.50 Canadian, plus shipping, 5 bucks =14.50, and if it does get thru the border, a small customs fee might happen which will be 5-10 bucks, which would still come to a total less than any Canadian retailer site.

I do know that Green Gas is propane. I was just wanting 2 cans of Green Gas at first instead of getting the adapter right off the bat. Green Gas is just so much cheaper in the states, and someone I know in Ontario bought a TM Spring M16 from Jungletoy and only had to pay a 10 dollar customs fee. (I don't personally know him, he is on a different forum, and is 12!)

Why don't you order from Tru? or Illusion? They're Canadian so no shipping worries, they are sexy, and they'll give you 5 dolla sucky sucky if you buy...

For what you want, it's STILL cheaper just to order in country.

It's also STILL cheaper to get the adaptor. With this forum up and running, airsoft related goods are pretty liquid. I don't think you would be stuck with the adaptor for too long.

You do know that the green gas cylinders aren't safe right? If heated they WILL explode rather violently, since they are you know, cheap thin shitty metal with no release valve and full of sweet combustable propane.

Well, as soon as I order my KJW M9, I'm going to order 12. BB's, and a ready can of green gas for it. So I thought I might as well for the first month or two have a can of green gas.

Why would you go with .12g BBs?

Because I PM'ed one of the members on this site that had one and he said 2. BB's go wildly inaccurate, and 12. shoot straight.

.20 should shoot straight, not .12.

Yeah, whoever told you that was either lying, or mixed up which one is which. You want .2 or heavier.
