ACU in late fall Alberta
I happened to be looking at some pics of the last game and came across some of myself in ACU.
I am actually very suprised at it. It blended in much better then I would of guessed. Maybe the US Army isn't as out to lunch as first thought. If my gun and LBV and face were better camoed it would of been pretty slick BTW these are not staged shots all taken in game and I was unaware Darklen even had a camera on him. |

The second shot blends in very well.

Well, you are surrounded by birch trees. The grey works well there.

Woo hoo..another ACU user..*lol*
With ACU, the user will need to be more aware of his surroundings when trying to blend in. I've got some pics from yesterday's game, will post some up later tonight. |

Hmm...that actually worked well with the trees. Makes you blend in and look like a stump.

Might you be persuaded to write up a review on your impressions concerning the ACU John?

To be honest My initial Impressions of ACU were that I thought it sucked ass.
But I bought it cause I like having a Variety of Camo esp Digital since my Team Camo is anything Digital. Honestly I never really used it when it was very green out. Maybe a couple pics kicking around I will look for. I like the BDU's themself with lots of great pockets and places for Kneepads/elbow pads. The madarin collar is great too I think. But looking at those Fall pics it seems to be a good Camo for when all the Leaves are off the trees. I think I may even use them in the winter with my white pants. But like I said I never really used them that much when it was still green but I will see if I can find a pic. |

The choice for fall seems to be AR.

In any low light conditions, if there is moonlight or such, the ACU lights you up like a para flare. Still I love mine for shits 'n giggles around Garrison.

Nice nic btw... lmao...
Yeah, it seems to be working decent for ya there, but I'm still less than impressed with the ACU... I can't see grey being an effective colour in a green forest... (yes I know it's techincally sage green on whatever, but it's grey.) |

Just to let everyone know Dave's Surplus has ACU's BDUs made by Propper its Milspec so it has all the goodies that the issue ones have. Velcro all over, Zipper front, manderian collar, etc... the only buttons is on the pants fly.
