ares vz58?
so i just got a special deal on a ares vz58. im just curious as to how proprietary the gun really is? i know the hopup, nozzle, and gearbox so far. but how are the internals?
any info is good, thanks!

Considering no one else makes one, most stuff is likely proprietary, however, what's actually in the gearbox, USUALLY stays pretty standard between most companies

Real rifle looks like space gun on the inside, I can only imagine what the airsoft AEG looks like, especially if it's made by Ares...

i found various replacment parts for some of the more sensitive stuff. like a aluminum nozzle and a new gearbox, but im slightly concerned on how it might hold up :S

I have wanted one of these forever.... just wish it wasn't a ARES product ruined it for me. I have wasted 300 bucks before on a gamble.. but to know you will be wasting 300 bucks with a ARES... thats a different story, you already know it will be junk.
